Terms of Use & License

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PhotoEditRocket software and the photoeditrocket.com website ("Service"), operated by the PhotoEditRocket team ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using PhotoEditRocket, you agree to these Terms.

1. License grant

Free / browser use. The web-based version of PhotoEditRocket may be used for free in your browser, subject to these Terms. Free use includes a watermark on exports. No purchase is required to evaluate the software.

Lifetime license. Upon purchasing a Lifetime License, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the current version of PhotoEditRocket on your own devices for personal and commercial client work. The license is for one person. You may install it on up to three of your own devices simultaneously.

2. What you may do

You may use PhotoEditRocket to create, edit, and export images for personal projects, client work, commercial projects, and social media content. You may keep and use any outputs (images, graphics) you create with PhotoEditRocket without restriction.

3. What you may not do

You may not: (a) sell, sublicense, redistribute, or transfer the PhotoEditRocket application or your license key to another person; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the software except to the extent permitted by applicable law; (c) use PhotoEditRocket to build a competing product; or (d) share your license key publicly.

4. Updates and future versions

A Lifetime License includes 1 year of free updates from your purchase date — every new version, template pack, and bug fix released during that year. Your purchased build keeps working forever, with no kill-switch or degradation. After your first year, you may optionally renew at a 50% discount ($9.99) for another full year of updates, or remain on your current version indefinitely. We will provide reasonable notice before ending support for a major version.

5. Refund policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with PhotoEditRocket within 30 days of purchase, email support@photoeditrocket.com with your order email and we will process a full refund. After 30 days, purchases are final. Refunds are not available for purchases made through third-party resellers.

6. Open-source components and font notices

PhotoEditRocket includes open-source libraries and fonts distributed under their respective licenses (MIT, Apache 2.0, SIL Open Font License, etc.). Third-party notices are included in the FONT_NOTICES.md and THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md files distributed with the software.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

PhotoEditRocket is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of PhotoEditRocket is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms with an updated effective date. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
