Refund Policy & Right of Withdrawal

1. The short version

If PhotoEditRocket is not right for you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason. You do not need to justify yourself. We would rather you had your money back than feel stuck with software you do not want.

2. Your statutory right of withdrawal (EU / UK)

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw from this purchase within 14 days of the day the contract is concluded, without giving any reason. This is a right granted by the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and, in the UK, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

This statutory right sits alongside our voluntary 30-day guarantee. It does not replace it, and nothing on this page limits it. Where the two differ, whichever is more favourable to you applies.

Digital content delivered immediately. PhotoEditRocket is digital content that is made available to you as soon as you pay. Under the Directive, a consumer can lose the right of withdrawal for digital content once supply has begun with their express prior consent and acknowledgement. We do not rely on that exception. We honour refunds for 30 days regardless of whether you have already downloaded or activated the software.

3. How to request a refund

Email support@photoeditrocket.com from the address you used at checkout, or use our contact form. Include:

• the email address used for the purchase
• your Stripe receipt number or order date (optional, but it speeds things up)
• your license key, if you have it to hand

You do not have to explain why. A one-line message is enough. If you would like to tell us what went wrong we are grateful for it — it is how the product gets better — but it is not a condition of the refund.

4. How long it takes

We aim to process refund requests within 2 business days. Once processed, the money is returned to your original payment method. Card issuers typically take a further 5–10 business days to post the credit to your statement — that part is outside our control.

For withdrawals under the statutory 14-day right, we will reimburse you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you.

5. What happens to your license

When a refund is issued, your license to use the paid, downloadable version of PhotoEditRocket ends. We ask that you delete the downloaded application. The free browser version remains available to you, as it is to everyone.

We do not use license servers or remote kill switches, so this relies on good faith. In our experience, that is not misplaced.

6. Renewals

Your license is one-time and permanent — there is no subscription and nothing auto-renews. A renewal is an optional, separate purchase that extends your free-updates window by another year. The same 30-day guarantee and the same statutory rights apply to a renewal purchase, from the date of that purchase.

7. Who you are buying from

Payments are processed by Stripe, acting as merchant of record for this sale. Stripe handles the transaction, applicable taxes and the refund mechanics. Your refund is initiated by us and returned by Stripe to your original payment method.

8. Model withdrawal form

You are not required to use this form — a plain email is perfectly sufficient. It is reproduced here because EU law requires that it be made available to you.

9. Chargebacks

Please email us before opening a chargeback with your bank. A refund from us is faster than a chargeback, and it avoids a dispute process that costs us a fee and costs you weeks of waiting. We have never refused a refund inside the guarantee window.
